Steve Edmunds and Don Heistuman modeled Bebame after finely structured, low alcohol wines like Chinon, Beaujolais, and Lagrein with the understanding this can be achieved in sunny California when the grapes are planted in just the right sites. Cooler El Dorado County has proven an ideal location for this Cab Franc/Gamay blend.
